It's
almost like a scene from a KGB Movie when on the 1st October the Pied Piper
"pivotal" meeting called by the President of CAMS with "selected /
invited" AKA office bearers 'pre selected' to fill the Interim CAMS board
positions in the new ASIC Registered Company called Karting Australia Limited, a group set
up to basically take over the AKA Association by stealth in the belief that CAMS is the
sole authority of karting in this country, and to satisfy a CAMS undertaking to FIA...
..... News travelled fast about how office bearers in the AKA have apparantly contributed
to assist a rival organisation without the knowledge of the members they represent,
without consultation of their karters or their State Executives, even to the point of
making sure that a hastily called "AKA/NKC" meeting by these new appointed /
recruited CAMS Interim board members, and deliberately set about excluding two other
members of the AKA Inc (Qld and NSW - who have 60% of AKA Karters) from that meeting ,
where it is believed they gave undertakings to a proposal to accept a previously unsighted
Memorandum of Understanding which holds undertones to sell out the AKA and its
customers you the karter !Invalid motions, invalidly called meetings , treachery, deciet and disloyalty needs to be explained here, and in particular the suggestion that AKA Funds and assets ( but not liabilities) will apparantly be transferred to this rival organisation by consent of the very officials obligated to a responsibilty within the AKA and to AKA karters yet now serving another master....Shame ! Shame ! Shame one would say ...Treason another would imply !.
The officers who accepted interim board positions as implied by Mr Osborne, with the rival group and recruited by CAMS - KA Ltd are as follows, their States and positions within AKA are listed and include ...AKA National President Donald Wells - AKA National Treasurer Max Laybutt - AKA South Australian President and NKC Delegate Ian Mooney - VKA President David Murray - AKA West Aust President and NKC delegate Gary Light - AKA Northern Territory President and NKC Delegate Bruce Duffiled - AKA Tasmanian President Peter Fitzpatrick and NKC delegate - a Karting Industry Association President Ross Edwards .. and John Wall as the Chairman of the Board ...other members of course include CAMS members to make a board of 11 people.
Imagine your State President joining a rival group - all this to secure delegation of karting that you don't need anyway ???? .to wear a new badge ...give up all voting rights...have no say ....and if you disagree are dismissed and all your money stays with the dismisser !!! .... AKA never needed CAMS - we do not need the lack of courage shown by these officers either - CAMS needed to ensure they issued delegation to satisfy the FIA - seems a strange way to go about getting it ...and an even more treacherous and cowardly way to submit to it !!!
That's our view whats yours ??
You can just picture the plenary conference of the FIA In Paris later this month where the CAMS delegate would be quizzed .....!!!
