As you would be aware the Townsville Kart Club in Sunny North Queensland over Easter  will host the Yamaha National Sprint Kart Titles. The distance required to travel to witness and participate at this event will see many parents, family and friends not able to travel, in order to provide support for the non travellers the Townsville Kart club and the QLD Karting Association and NQ Sport.net will provide a live stream of the finals to the interne.

All ten finals  (yes 10 finals) will be covered and will be supplemented with interviews both prior to and after the final event that decides the Australian Champion - an additional feature will include the award presentation. The telecast will commence at 8.30am on Sunday 12^th April with the Official opening and racing is scheduled to commence around approx.  9.00am .The scheduled order of the classes at this stage is not known, but once we have the proposed race schedule and anticipated times of   events these will be sent out to all.

The live streaming is a pay for view and will cost US$10 for the day.

The one thing to make the telecast work well for any viewer is to ensure that you have a very good Broadband hook up. An ordinary 256k Broadband is not good enough for  Video Streaming, and viewers will need a minimum 512k connection.
You can test your computer before you book to be sure that it is good enough to take the feed with good results. The Queensland Karting Association have recognised the potential of promoting Karting through this means and have supported the streaming with a view that if it works both in popularity and getting the Karting message out to the Internet then they will look at including this service at their events in the future.
